Pediatric Palliative Care

Pediatric Palliative Care will focus on palliative care for children and young people living with serious or life-limiting conditions. Topics may include pain and symptom management, communication with children, family-centered care, ethical decision-making, and support for siblings and caregivers. Experts may share research and clinical experiences involving children with complex medical conditions. Pediatric Palliative Care will also discuss home-based care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and coordination between healthcare and educational services. Participants will explore ways to improve comfort, dignity, and quality of life for children while supporting their families. The track aims to promote compassionate and age-appropriate pediatric palliative care.
